For a corn sweetener plant, unit was fabricated as a TEMA type BEM with a 4 pass tube side, containing (428) 1-1/2” OD x 18 gauge 304/L stainless steel tubes and a ½” shell carbon steel. It has a 3/8” 304/L stainless steel channel shell and 3/8” ASME F & D 304/L stainless channel heads. This unit has (28) 6” cleanouts. Measuring 57” O.D. x 40’-0” T/S to T/S length.
Vessel was fabricated for use in a corn milling plant. It was made with a 3/8” carbon steel shell, and (2) elliptical heads, all coated in Flame Control 500 paint. Measuring 48” O.D. x 6’-0”.
Fabricated for a grain processing plant, unit contains (2012) 1-1/2” x 18 BWG 316/L stainless tubes with (4) 316/L stainless machine lined channel body flanges, segmented baffles, (2) 24” manways and (2) shop fabricated sight glass windows. Measuring 94” OD x 50’-0” with a 156” OD vapor head section.
Vessel measures 66” OD x 12’-6” Tangent-Tangent and was fabricated entirely from carbon steel. This unit was engineered as a “lethal service” unit and was post-weld heat treated both off-site and on-site utilizing localized electrical resistance blanketing techniques.
Fabricated for ammonia service. (40) tray supports were installed in the shop along with a vortex breaker and ladder/platform clips. Measurements are 48” ID x 84’-6” Tangent-Tangent. All components were 304/L stainless, including supports.
One of many sieve vaporizers Mason has fabricated over the years. All components are carbon steel, except the tubes and tubesheets are 304/L and 316/L, respectively. Dimensions are 27” ID x 18’-0” T/S-T/S and includes (642) 3/4″ x 16 BWG tubes. All tubes include a “turbulator” that measures 6’-0” long.
Fabricated for a chemical processor, this high pressure TEMA type NEN heat exchanger measured 22-1/2” OD x 14’-0” T/S-T/S. (205) 1” x 14 BWG tubes were used with (205) 3/8” x 20 BWG injector tubes for the vapor flow into the tubes. The thick shell of 3/4″ carbon steel required subcontracting rolling capabilities with one our long time vendors. Hydro test pressure on the shell side of this unit was 1141 psig.
Typical API-650 shop fabricated storage tank. Constructed entirely from 304/L stainless steel in the measurements of 10-6” OD x 22’-0” Straight Length.
CIP heater for an ethanol producer. Measurements are 14” OD x 72” T/S-T/S, TEMA type NEN with (142) ¾” x 16 BWG 316/L tubes.
Not your typical API 650 shop constructed tank. Fabricated with a bottom that includes a 14° sloped false bottom and a grid support structure for use with a very viscous fluid. Dimensions are 12’-0” x 40’-0” straight wall in 2205 duplex material.
